Divine guidance led Pastor Ina and Pastor Sarah Omakwu to Abuja where on the 11th April 1993, they started Family Worship Centre at the Sheraton hotel with a congregation of 147 adults and 64 children. Their hearts was to worship God, teach the word in simplicity and love God's people unconditionally.

FAMILY WORSHIP CENTRE is a subsidiary of FAMILY MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL. Pastor Sarah Omakwu serves as Senior Pastor; Family Worship Centre assisted by other vibrant pastors and leaders who are committed to teaching the undiluted word of God and spreading the agape love of God to the saved and unsaved people until everyone is discipled.
Family Worship Centre is trying to reach the Hausa Fulani people in the north and the young urban professionals.
